Exide Technologies Retirement Analyst in Milton, Georgia
The Retirement Analyst provides support in the research, analysis, planning, implementation, communication, and administration of all retirement plans, including all defined contribution and defined benefit programs. This includes plans for U.S. salaried, non-union hourly, union hourly and Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES :
Perform duties as required to support the day-to-day activities, such as enrollment platform issue resolution and report generation, audit and contribution processing, inbound and outbound census and payroll deduction file support, and assisting with invoicing and forecasting
Work with vendors on member issue resolutions and gain understanding of key processes and retirement plan account structures
Function as a liaison between vendors and employees and advise employees on escalated issues related to eligibility, contributions, benefit amounts and plan design; monitor for trends
Coordinate with internal contacts such as HRIS and Payroll to ensure efficiencies and issue resolution
Ensure data integrity and data management to support the accuracy of the retirement plans for all employees
Support the enrollment and eligibility process
Effectively utilize project management skills to assist team with the execution of projects – updating work plans, communicating progress, etc.
Apply continuous improvement philosophy to processes to improve administration, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
Assist in reviewing and coordinating the delivery of retirement plan communications
Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, accounting, or related field
At least two years of prior work experience with retirement benefits
Strong organizational abilities, the ability to work independently, multi-task seamlessly, and complete assignments within established timeframes is required; attention to detail and accuracy is essential
Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw valid conclusions and formulate sound recommendations
Completes and maintains complete accuracy for contributions and benenfit amounts
Exhibits the highest level of customer service focused on speed, accuracy and ownership
Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer information
Prior actuarial experience a plus
Knowledge of pertinent federal regulations affecting employee retirement programs including ERISA, PBGC
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
2-3 years of experience in administration of retirement programs
2-3 years of experience in human resources
Degree in human resources, accounting or business preferred
Actuarial experience a plus.
