The Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator is a key member of Exide’s Human Resources (HR) team supporting a range of internal and external clients. This person will work with recruiters to ensure all phases of the recruiting life-cycle (identification of needs, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and on-boarding) are executed in an efficient and effective manner. This role serves as a key resource for clients in providing data, status updates and general information about the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Monitors pre-employment background checks, drug screens and physicals (where appropriate); works with outside vendors for follow-up and questions
Interacts with prospective new employees, HR and hiring managers to ensure a successful and positive onboarding experience, including management of the electronic on-boarding forms process (through iCIMS)
Monitors progress of new hires’ form completion prior to their first days
Ensures a field-based company representative is identified and knows what is expected of them when they meet a new employee on their first day
Oversee accurate, timely, compliant completion of I-9 and E-Verify processes for all covered locations and meet new employees starting at Milton office on their first days
Tracks down missing and ensures a smooth hand-off of first day forms to others in HR
Ensures new employee and transferee data in the ATS is 100% accurate; updates records for external hires, rehires and internal transfers and promotions (including position management IDs)
Sends communications to managers (hiring and releasing) notifying them of their role and responsibilities in the onboarding process
Interacts with various levels of candidates, human resources and hiring managers to schedule interviews such as:
Telephone screens for recruiters, supervisors and hiring managers
On-site interviews (panel and sequential; reserving interview rooms)
Video/Skype/Google Hangouts sessions
Coordinating travel arrangements and expense reimbursement as needed
Sending interview confirmations to interview panel (typically via Outlook) and candidates (typically via iCIMS)
Meeting and greeting candidates who arrive for interviews
Coordinates contractor/temp hiring requests with external suppliers
Monitors shared email accounts; forwards/responds accordingly
Runs reports (from iCIMS, HRIS) and proficient with Excel
Initiates relocation benefits when needed
Assist in survey preparation, delivery, and analysis (potential future responsibility)
Assists with the pre-employment assessment process
Continuously looks for ways to improve the process ensuring clients, candidates and new hires have a positive experience
Balances critical priorities with personal self-development initiatives
Serves as a backup to recruiters as needed
Special projects as assigned
Performs work in compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity, immigration and company policy per management direction.
The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED at a minimum and at least 3-years of related work experience; Bachelor's degree a plus. Must have experience handling confidential information. Prior experience coordinating new employee onboarding (emphasis on I-9 and E-Verify) and interview scheduling (maintaining calendars/schedules with frequent changes) preferred. Knowledge and prior experience with Human Resource policies and practices; prior experience in Recruiting/Human Resources function strongly preferred.
Previous experience in a fast-paced, client-centric service setting with proven performance in a high volume recruiting environment strongly preferred.

Advanced skills with Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS a plus), HRIS, Gmail, Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet preferred; desire to enhance technical skills and learning required.
