Exide Technologies Procurement Operations Coordinator in Milton, Georgia


We are seeking candidates for the role of Procurement Operations Specialist for the North America Region located at the corporate headquarters of Exide Technologies. The role will report directly to the Director of Procurement Operations. The function of the Procurement Operations Specialist will be to own maintaining accuracy and compliance in various Procurement systems.


  • Be expected to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, in particular, the Accounts Payables team

  • Work with Cost Accounting and the Commodity Managers in coordinating pricing standard changes for battery componentns

  • Coordinate response to vendor payment issues with the Accounts Payable team

  • Process and validate requested changes in JD Edwards routings according to Corporate Policy

  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to administer the weekly supplier payment process

  • Develop/simplify processes that give more visibility to product cost and cash flow


Experience, Certifications:

  • At least 2 years of supply chain experience in manufacturing, procurement,or sourcing

  • Proven experience working in a cross functional environment

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:

  • Keep reliable and auditable records of change requests for Procurement systems

  • Possess executive-level communications skills

  • Demonstrate strong business ethical standards.

  • Possess a strong sense of customer centricity while balancing the procurement principles of cost, quality, and delivery.

  • Embrace change management. Learn, embrace, or discover new technology or methodologies for improving performance.

  • Be able to resolve independently tactical issues that can reasonably be resolved at a Specialist level

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft and Google suite of products

  • Profieciency working in JDE is a plus

  • Possess the acumen for working in a fast-paced environment
