Exide Technologies Inside Sales Representative - Motive Power in Milton, Georgia


The Inside Sales Motive Power position is responsible for supporting and executing the go to market sales strategy by developing relationships with local market material handling dealers and distributors. The successful candidate will respond quickly to customer requests for quotes, entering purchase orders, processing RGA and following up on order status.

  • Build relationships with Material Handling Dealers and Distributors

  • Quickly respond to requests for Quotes

  • Enter PO timely

  • Process RGA’s (Returned Goods Authorization) efficiently

  • Follow up on Order status

  • Drive incremental sales by delivering superior customer experience

  • Other duties as assigned.

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge :

  • Proven success with building positive sales relationships.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Application Engineers, Schedulers and other GNB/Exide team members.

  • Ability to respond very quickly and effectively to requests for quotes and other inquiries.

  • Ability to influence without authority GNB team members into a high-performing, cohesive team.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and JDE is highly desirable.

  • Experience working with logistic partners to follow up on Orders

  • Possess high level of business acumen and the quantitative/analytical capacity to understand complex sales processes

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales within the industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in the Industrial market.
