Exide Technologies Director, Treasury in Milton, Georgia
Executes on strategic treasury initiatives to optimize the company’s global balance sheet and cash flow profile. The ideal candidate is someone who has led, or operated at a high level within, the Treasury function of a dynamic global organization. This position reports to the Senior Vice President and Corporate Treasurer.
Assist the SVP and Corporate Treasurer on the execution of strategic treasury projects designed to improve the company’s overall global financial profile, and ensuring timely and effective delivery of these projects.
Act as the strategic and tactical owner of the company’s capital structure and credit/debt management, ensuring the most efficient use of the company’s cash and borrowed funds.
Manage, maintain and optimize commercial banking relationships with existing and potential lenders.
Work closely with the SVP/Treasurer and the Director of Treasury Operations to implement best practices around global cash management, cash flow forecasting, optimal bank account structures, risk management, compliance and technology solutions.
Develop strong working relationships across the global finance and operations areas of the company in order to bring well-thought-out ideas and solutions to the business.
Be a trusted advisor to cross-functional business partners on corporate finance and treasury-related issues.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or accounting;
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred;
7 – 10 years of experience in Treasury, preferably in an international company with global manufacturing experience;
Excellent analytical and project management skills;
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and persuasively with all levels of the organization to influence change;
Proven ability to work closely and effectively with key business partners (Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal and Audit);
Strong knowledge of a range of treasury processes and functions (banking, cash management, liquidity optimization, credit facilities, foreign exchange, hedging, etc.);
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; and
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex subject matter in a way that makes it understandable to a variety of internal and external audiences.
Travel and Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to Exide facilities in the U.S. and internationally, as necessary.
