Exide Technologies Collections Analyst in Milton, Georgia


The position is responsible for direct management of accounts receivable for a specified portfolio of accounts operating within a team of collectors.

  • Work directly with branches, distribution centers, and/or sales departments in management of accounts receivable for a specific portfolio

  • Provide guidance and support for credit functions maintained to include collection of past due accounts and monitoring of Credit Hold and COD

  • Establish and maintain customer relations on all issues related to credit and

  • Provide information to customers as this will include, but is not limited to, proof of delivery, copies of invoi8ces, and pricing information.

  • Perform account reconciliations to include researching all aspects of the billing/invoicing process, researching cash application issues, and identification and resolution of unapplied payments and unauthorized

  • Issue credit memos and invoices to correct billing errors, and allow customer credit for pre¬ established sales

  • Maintain clean customer accounting by consistent monitoring of the customer accounts performing offsets between credits and

  • Other duties may be assigned.


  • Minimum four-year college degree preferred

  • Minimum five years' experience or equivalent combination of work experience and education

  • Possess proficient computer skills including working in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) and Google (Gmail, Drive)

  • JDE knowledge and experience a plus

  • Solid oral and written communication skills

  • Effectively communicate cross-functionally with co-workers, internal and external customers and management

  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints

  • Solid organization skills in order to efficiently multi-task and manage projects from start to finish

  • Must be a detail-oriented self-starter with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Due to required systems access and on-site team collaboration, regular attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the position
