Exide Technologies Business Analyst in Milton, Georgia
Exide Technologies is looking for a innovative data professional to advance reporting, analysis, & overall BI strategy for the Logistics & Distribution team. This position will drive value by utilizing data to support accurate and agile decision-making. The ideal candidate will build on a solid, albiet fledgling, foundation and have the opportunity to influence the roadmap of the future.
Design, develop, and deliver critical tools/applications, dashboards and analytic solutions for Logistics & Distribution in support of cost management and margin improvement.
Work with various stakeholders to identify key business questions and drive actionable solutions using analytical insights.
Lead development of policies, processes, standards and best practices in data management
Employ data mining, data warehousing, segmentation, and other analytical techniques to capture important trends and create relevant measurement dashboards such as Power BI or Halo BI.
Work with IT team on the execution and configuration of Supply Chain applications to deliver required functionality
Experience in contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within a deployment/build environment

Education, Experience, Certifications :
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, IT, or Business Admininstration; or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Competencies, Skills, Knowledge :
SQL database experience.
Data Analysis and Data validation by writing SQL queries.
Strong BI solution experience (Power BI, Halo BI, WebFOCUS, Cognos, etc)
End to End BI experience desired
Supply Chain/Logistics experience desired
TMS experience desired (eg – BluJay Solutions)
Demonstrates organizational awareness and uses influence effectively to promote positive change
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
