Exide Technologies Branch Coordinator in Edmonton, Alberta


The Branch Coordinator main responsibilities will be to provide day-to-day support to the sales and operations conducted at the local branch.


  • will have a background and experience in Customer Service

  • Post secondary education preferred – College or Universitywill be a self-starter with exceptional communication skills, works well under pressure

  • team player

  • possesses an expert knowledge of the MS Office Software, experience in JD Edwards preferred

  • possess excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

  • be able to work independently and have a proven ability to multi-task, knows how to prioritize

  • accounts receivable experience preferred

  • bilingual (French/English) preferred


Customer Service

  • telemarketing and providing support to our customers and Sales team

  • taking & processing customer orders

  • handling customer inquiries

  • invoicing and statement mailing

  • daily reporting of any issues to the Branch Manager or the Regional Operations Manager or Directors

Accounts Receivable

  • A/R collections

  • month end reports

Accounts Payable

  • apply G/L coding to all payable invoices

Administrative Duties

  • filing and general HR functions

  • purchase all stationary, forms and office supplies

  • control & reconcile petty cash

  • prepare bill of lading forms for common carrier shipments

  • arrange carriers for outgoing shipments

  • handle internal calls & e-mails

  • reconcile driver daily truck reports – to paperwork, cash, sales, scrap

  • provide daily reports with Head Office

Inventory Control

  • process incoming inventory, inventory adjustments and warehouse transfers

  • may be required to perform some duties in the warehouse
